The Forensic Nursing Science Section Leadership (Amy Carney — Chair, Janean Fossum — Secretary, Joyce Williams — Past Chair, Virginia Lynch — Distinguished Fellow Emeritus, and Jamie Ferrell — Director) are proud of our Program Chair Laura La Cagnina and Co-Chair Jessica Voltz for this year's incredible program.

The theme for the 2025 AAFS Annual Scientific Conference is "Technology: A Tool for Transformation or Tyranny?" The Forensic Nursing Science (FNS) Section has come shining through with an excellent program. In addition to a day-and-a-half of presentations and a half-day of combined sessions with the Engineering & Applied Sciences Section, we have two excellent workshops. The Tuesday all-day workshop, W13 "The Body as the Crime Scene: Traces, Signs, and Scientific Methods," and an afternoon workshop, W27 "Mind Games and Machines: Navigating Cognitive Biases in Forensic Technology," will both explore the theme as it applies to AAFS forensic professionals.

We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore, MD, February 17-22, 2025!
