In Memoriam: Sakhr Jaber AlQahtani
We are sad to report that Dr. Sakhr Jaber AlQahtani, a prominent Saudi dentist and assistant professor at King Saud University, passed away April 9, 2025.
Dr. AlQahtani often came to the AAFS Annual Scientific Conferences and gave excellent presentations. He was the founder and head of the Clinical Forensic Odontology Unit in Saudi Arabia, member of the Odontology Sub-Working Group in Disaster Victim Identification in INTERPOL, vice president of the Arab Association of Forensic Odontologists, and the Head of Pediatric Dentistry at the College of Dentistry in King Saud University.
He was probably best known for the Atlas of Tooth Development and Eruption, developed during his PhD project at the Queen Mary University of London. He was widely respected and will be greatly missed.
