Responsibilities

Responsible for the technical management of the Biology Unit to include ensuring continuous QAS and ISO 17025 compliance. Routine performs forensic casework and technical reviews.

Qualifications

At a minimum, a master's degree in a biology-, chemistry-, or forensic science-related area and successfully completed 12 semester or equivalent credit hours from a combination of undergraduate and graduate coursework covering biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and statistics or population genetics.

The technical leader must also have a minimum of three years of human DNA experience as a qualified analyst on forensic samples and must complete the FBI DNA auditor training course within 6 months of employment.

Compensation

Salary range 85,000-120,000.

Health, dental, life, and disability insurance for the employee paid at 100%.
