Assistant Teaching Professor
Responsibilities
The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CJC) of Ball State University invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor beginning August 2024 or January 2025. Duties and Responsibilities: Instruct courses in policing, corrections, courts, and/or forensic science. The standard teaching load is four courses per semester, which may include online courses as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications: A PhD, juris doctorate, or Master’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment. Teaching experience at the College or University level. Professional experience in the criminal investigations/forensic science field. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
