Update to Policy and Procedure Manual
An updated AAFS Policy and Procedure Manual has been posted to the website HERE. The Table of Contents is linked to the appropriate pages for easy navigation. The following updates were approved by the Board of Directors:
4.3.1. Dues Billing - Updated tiered late fee schedule.
6.6.3.5. (Ethics Committee) Records - Updated language regarding records/files.
6.14.4. Past President Council Award for Outstanding Early Career Achievement in Forensic Science - Updated award criteria.
In addition, the following sections approved and updated portions of the PPM pertaining to individual section operating policies (e.g., membership criteria, awards, committees, etc.): Anthropology; Digital & Multimedia Sciences; General; Odontology; Psychiatry & Behavioral Science; Questioned Documents; and Toxicology.
