The FIU Research Forensic Library

The Research Forensic Library, a collaboration of Florida International University (FIU) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), is a first-of-its-kind online resource that compiles open-access publications in every major forensic science discipline.

The Library provides access to groundbreaking research and to historical articles, all available for free. There are currently over 7,600 articles and reports in the library, with more added every day.

Also available is the Daily Digest, a curated list of new journal articles and reports delivered to your inbox and literary searches, for research or professional use.

  • Articles from every major forensic journal are available, as well as reports from the NIJ, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Research Triangle Institute (RTI), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and many other sources
  • Hundreds of historical articles tracing the history of the forensic sciences are available to download
  • A forensic librarian is available for assistance in locating articles and conducting literature searches
