Collaboration Invitation: AAFS Odontology Section Seeks Partnerships With Anthropology Section

Dear Colleagues in the Anthropology Section,

As members of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS), we in the Odontology Section believe in the value of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as the diversity of knowledge in advancing our collective understanding of forensic science. We are reaching out to our colleagues in the Anthropology Section to propose a collaborative effort for the upcoming AAFS conference.

We are particularly interested in engaging with anthropologists who hold skeletal collections that could be beneficial to the forensic dental community. Skeletal collections offer invaluable insights into human anatomy, pathology, and population demographics, making them essential resources for forensic research and education.

Our proposal is simple: we invite anthropologists with skeletal collections to collaborate with forensic dentists to explore the dental aspects of their collections.
