The Journal of Forensic Sciences' publishing company is launching a Wiley Research Heroes Prizea competition that gives researchers a chance to celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond their usual duties. This is an opportunity for researchers to recognize people whose contributions ensure research remains inclusive, innovative, and impactful.

Here's what you need to know about the prize:

Anyone can nominate or be nominated: Nominees do not need to have previously published with Wiley or be associated with a Wiley journal and can be at any career stage. (Wiley employees, as well as their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), are not eligible)

Prizes: Five winners from around the world will receive the equivalent of $2,000 US Dollars in their local currency.

How to Nominate: It is simple! People complete a form and share a short paragraph on why the nominee deserves recognition. Nominations need to be completed by October 15

Five Wiley colleagues are the judges: Joyce Griffin, Melanie Lehnert-Bechle, Nafees Mujtaba, Lei Lei, and Lilly O'Scanaill.

The prize winners will gain global exposure as their achievements are celebrated.
