The Columbus Police Crime Laboratory is accepting resumes for the position of Forensic Scientist II. This advertisement is directed toward trained/experienced forensic scientists with preference given to those scientists possessing a master’s degree or higher. Responsibilities include performing complex examination and analyses of evidence; preparing written reports of findings; performing quality assurance; and presenting oral testimony in court in Forensic Biology/DNA.

The salary range for this position is $44,554 – $72,696 plus benefits. The salary hiring point will be based on education, certification, and experience. Selected applicants will be subjected to a background investigation and a drug test.
